Last month, Spotify assured users that the disco ball app icon was temporary as part of its 20th birthday celebration. Now, 25 days later, a Spotify app update that fixes the logo is now available.
If it feels like the change is taking a little longer than expected, there’s a good reason for that.
First, Spotify said he would change his symbol “next week”, a statement made on Sunday.
A few “next weeks” later, the promised update finally arrived.
Then, we’ll have to wait and see if the latest Spotify update fixes it annoying CarPlay problem.
In the meantime, you can get the latest Spotify update from the App Store. Or if you like a disco ball and don’t want the music to stop, maybe avoid it.
