Apple Invites got its second software update this summer, adding two new digital invitation features for users.
Emoji reactions and confetti animation
Invites is Apple’s digital event planning app for iCloud+ subscribers. It is available on iPhone and iPad. The app does not require an iPhone or a paid iCloud account to respond to digital events created with Apple Invites.
The July release introduces two new features between host and guest:
- Hosts and guests can now react to answers with emojis, so everyone can share in the excitement as the guest list comes together.
- A delicious confetti animation now plays when guests answer, making every answer feel like a celebration.
It follows two features June update added cohosting, public guestlists and new backgrounds. Before this release, Apple invites got the first iMessage appPost invitations where people are already chatting.
Apple invites you to iPhone Available on the App Store. Creating a digital invite requires iCloud+ and anyone can RSVP.
