Baseus has officially launched the new PicoGo Air magnetic power bank. It’s ridiculously thin and fits the Pixel 10 like a glove. Here’s how to save over 30% on one.
I have covered several Baseus power banks 9 to 5 Google including one during the past year It’s uncompromisingly thin on the AM52. It’s still my top recommendation for most people, as the 10,000mAh capacity and extra internal cable make it the best. common experience.
But I really wanted something a little more subtle and easy to pick up.
The new PicoGo Air really grabbed me.
Baseus shipped an initial unit a few weeks ago, and since then it’s become a staple of my daily carry because it fits everywhere. The slim 5,000mAh battery is just under 7mm thick, making it thinner than the actual Pixel 10 I attached. It’s about twice as thick as the camera stick protrusion, and even when the phone isn’t cased, it doesn’t spill over the edges like many other options. It’s designed around the iPhone Air, of course, but it’s a perfect fit for Pixel 10 owners.
Note that this is not a Qi2 power bank like the other option I mentioned earlier. It is compliant with the standard but does not have full Qi 2.2 support. So Pixel 10 Pro XL charging is limited to 22.5W. I’m guessing it has something to do with how Baseus crammed everything into such a slim form factor, but it has no bearing on day-to-day use.
What does A design that affects everyday use, but in a good way. The back panel has some clever little ridges that help with heat management. Like any Qi power bank, it gets hot, but not noticeably so.
There is an embedded NFC tag here that launches the Baseus app. Keeping the phone in that area shows some information including specific battery percentage and battery health. The percentage is the only thing that feels worthwhile here to me, and I’m not sure it’s worth installing the program full time. At least it’s a nice idea.
Really, the selling point for me here is the size. It’s crazy to think that there could be a 5000mAh power bank this it’s thin, and the fact that it fits the Pixel 10 perfectly is a plus.
