Enabot manufactures a wide range of wheeled robots. They are all designed for home security cameras that can be remotely maneuvered and can accompany people and pets around the house.
Enabot’s EBO robots range in price from $120 to $1,000. Among the dozens of models offered by the brand, my favorite continues to be the most expensive: EBO X.

Enabot has set the bar very high with the EBO X

It’s been three years since the EBO X debuted at CES 2023. Enabot leaned heavily on the protective robot label with the EBO X, which is not unusual for the brand. The $1,000 EBO X has a lot in common with Enabot’s other robots. They all come with docking stations, wheels, cameras, speakers, microphones, night vision and remote control support.
But EBO X stands proud, head held high, shining bright and clear. in addition to all the advantages of regular Enabot robots such as EBO Weather or EBO ROLA Mini, the robot packs a punch with best-in-class features. Features like fall detection and cry recognition are very useful and unique.
The Enabot EBO X robot packs a punch with best-in-class features.
With the EBO X, you get brilliant Harmon Kardon speakers that are simply usable Bluetooth speakers after selecting this mode. The combination of high-quality speakers and microphones means that two-way communication is also of high quality.
And since Enabot decided to equip the EBO X with a superbly upgraded 8MP 4K UHD camera with a stabilized gimbal, the video quality is unmatched. I use the EBO X robot almost every day when I’m out and about. When my cat hides in a tight corner, I can easily zoom in or pan the camera up or down to find him.
Once you’ve tasted the deluxe version of EBO robots, there’s no going back

Thanks to hardware and software optimizations, navigation is incredibly smooth and has only improved over time. The EBO X quadruple positioning system features real-time GPS tracking with visual simultaneous localization and mapping (V-SLAM) technology.
The Enabot EBO X guardian robot returns to its own charger when the battery runs out and can be set to patrol your home or communicate with people and pets via an app.
You can adjust many settings and preferences in the app, including remote control settings. Even the RGB lights of the robot’s “eyes” can be customized via the mobile app, or you can simply touch the edges of the robot itself to change the colors.
Once you connect your Alexa account to the robot, it becomes an Alexa speaker on wheels.
Perhaps my favorite aspect of the Enabot EBO X smart home companion robot is native Alexa support. Once you connect your Alexa account to the robot, it becomes one Alexa speaker on wheels. You can add Alexa skills that allow the robot to follow you when given the right voice command. The comfort is unimaginable.
It’s the combination of Alexa support, superior camera quality, and high-end Harmon Kardon speakers that makes it very difficult for me to go back to using the low-end EBO Air or EBO Air 2.
If you were to ask me to recommend a smart home security camera for your home, the Enabot EBO X is definitely my top recommendation.
While you can, pick up this multi-functional smart home robot without a reservation. It will accompany your pets, check on your family members, monitor your home, act as an Alexa speaker that can track you, and help you communicate with people or pets at home while you’re away.
The EBO X robot even alerts you to fall alerts and when it detects babies crying. This is the best Enabot has ever made, an incredibly useful tracker to have at home.

The cutest robot for your home
Enabot has really aimed high with its EBO X smart home security robot. The sky’s the limit for what this companion robot can do. Once you get used to the high-quality service and features that EBO X offers, it’s really hard to go back to lower-end Enabot robots.
