
“Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert” still has time for its successful 20th anniversary tour, but fans of the sequel now have their own events.The Legend of Korra The film celebrating the 15th anniversary of the “Concert” series will be released in 2027.
A press release describes the show as “a breathtaking live concert experience that delivers a groundbreaking sequel through a live symphonic performance combined with an immersive cinematic experience.” Follow Korra, the next Avatar to rebel after Aang, as she travels through a world on the brink of revolution alongside Asami, Bolin, and Mako.”
The work of composer Jeremy Zuckerman and editor Jeff Adams, who worked on both The Legend of Korra“takes a two-hour visual journey through all four seasons of the iconic animated series in chronological order, projected on a full-size cinema screen. Audiences will experience original dialogue and sound effects, while a powerful live orchestra plays the legendary score in perfect sync with the action on screen.”
In the release, Zuckerman explained why he was excited for her Avatar music universe to get another showcase. “His music The Legend of Korra explores a very different emotional and musical landscape Avatar: The Last Airbendermixing orchestral, jazz and electronic influences to reflect the more modern world of Korra,” he said. “Hearing the score performed live brings a new level of energy to the music and allows the audience to experience the story in a completely different way.”
Tickets will go on sale from July 17 official website; dates start in January 2027. In the US, it will hit 20 cities starting January 10; In Europe, 10 city badges start on January 31.
