On June 18, 2026 Blizzard Entertainment released the next major content update for World of Warcraft: Midnight, which will be titled “Curse of Ula’tek”. It falls on July 7, 2026.
This update will have players fight giant monsters like Serpent to help the Troll Zul’jarra take his kin (including Zul’can). new Raids, Dungeons and Delvesand other forms of combat content.
Here’s what you can expect from the Curse of Ula’Tek update.
First, the update will introduce a new zone called The Coiled Isle, where players will explore ancient ruins and take part in several outdoor activities.
These include exploring the Vaults of Atal’Ulek, mastering a new special talent tree to help you survive the poisonous traps of this land, and killing Elite Enemies spawned in Curse Surges to unlock Cursed fishing grounds to earn with a tortolan sea captain named Tokka.
The main course of this update will be its new Eight Boss Raid called “Poisonous Abyss”, where you will fight against eight poisonous snake bosses, culminating in a final battle with the five-headed snake monster Ula’tek.
Additionally, this update will introduce several new Delve Dungeons with a new three-boss dungeon called Altar of Fangs, a new Lairs system where 15-25 players can challenge World Bosses that reach Mythic difficulty, and a new Venomfalls Deep Nemesis Delve boss to fight.
The Curse of Ula’tek update also introduces a new rotation of Mythic+ dungeons, predator targets to kill, new Argentina Quests, and new Players Vs. Bots are available in Arena PvP mode.
This content patch doesn’t just include new combat and open content. It also brings UI improvements to the Cooldown Manager and Ping System, updates to the Player House that will allow players to save, export, and import their house layouts, new Neighborhood quests, and finally, allows players to welcome pets into their homes.
Of course, the update will introduce a slew of balance changes for all of the game’s classes and a metric ton of new mechs, mounts, and cosmetic rewards to grab.
