The T1 phone, commonly known as the Trump phone, has a rather mixed story. Vaporware concerns a data breach affects thousands of people. Most recently, A demolition confirmed the phone was simply a gold-plated, modified version of the HTC U24 Pro. But that’s what a public relations firm is all about: putting a positive spin on bad stories. However, it appears the confusion may have become too much even for Trump Mobile’s PR team.
according to The VergePoplar Group has stopped representing Trump Mobile. The company’s co-founder Chris Walker said in a statement that his team “is no longer helping Trump Mobile.” Refreshingly, Walker is a revelation USA Today T1 claims its phones are American made. It later turned out that this was not true, and now Trump Mobile admits it.
It is unclear whether Trump Mobile has secured a new PR and media relations firm to replace Poplar Group. The Verge states that Walker did not know if the phone company was currently using a new PR firm. Another strange entry has been added to this strange saga.
