When it comes to 3D printers, I’m a big Bambu Lab fan. When someone asks me what the best 3D printer is, I usually say Bambu Lab.

It’s not because they paid me to say it or because I made a ton of money to say it, but I truly believe it. In fact, Bambu Labs has never sent me a 3D printer to review as of this writing.

The thing is, Bambu Lab makes really awesome printers, easy-to-use software, and has built one of the largest online 3D printing communities around the company. That’s what makes this Prime Day the perfect time to pick up one of their printers.

Right now, you can pick up the icon Bambu Lab P1S Combo At $499, that’s $100 off the regular going rate. The P1S Combo comes with an AMS or automatic material system, meaning it can automatically switch between four filaments when printing.

If you want automation, print quality and reliability, the P1S is probably one of the best 3D printers in this price range. I have a P1S with about 3500 hours of print time and it still works flawlessly. However, the P1S isn’t the only 3D printer from Bambu Labs currently on sale.

You can’t go wrong with any of the Bambu Lab printers

If you think you need the latest and greatest from Bambu to get started with 3D printing, you’re wrong. My first Bambu Lab printer was the A1 mini and I loved it.

In fact, only The reason I upgraded to the P series printers was that I got a lot on the P1S and the P2S was a Christmas present so I didn’t need the smaller A1 mini.

Indeed, anything at Bambu Labs will be a fantastic choice for your 3D printing adventures. The A1 series is great for those looking for an open-frame printer, and the P series offers a better camera, a closed build for printing with high-temperature filaments, and more. is a solid step with additional features such as

There are also newer printers from Bambu, such as the A2L and X2D, but they are not currently available. So I would continue to look at the sale printers listed above as they will give you fantastic print quality without breaking the bank.

The Bambu Labs P1S 3D printer is ready to go out of the box and can print for you in 15 minutes. It has up to 16-color printing with an AMS unit, has a built-in camera for remote monitoring and time-lapses, and even has an enclosed housing for printing high-temperature filaments.

If you’re not a fan of Bambu Labs, that’s okay, because there are several other 3D printers on sale for Prime Day. Here are some of my favorite other printer deals available right now:

Not only is Prime Day a great time to get discounted 3D printers, but it’s also a great time to pick up some tools, filament, and more. You can never have enough filament on hand, so here are some of my favorite filament deals I’ve ever seen.

There are deals everywhere for 3D printers, even in areas you might not have thought of. Of course the filament is on sale and so are the building boards. However, if I were to start 3D printing, one of the biggest things I would buy is a mini cordless electric screwdriver set.

Whether you’re building or maintaining a 3D printer, there are a lot of screws that need to be removed and reinserted to do it all by hand. I love having a mini screwdriver handy for this, and now is a great time to pick one up.

3D printing is a hobby that never ends

I’ve been doing 3D printing for years now and I love it just as much as the day I started, if not more. There is always something new to do with 3D printing. Whether it’s a new tool for the home or shop, an organizational item, or a fun toy or collectible for kids, there’s no shortage of patterns to find for free online.

If you’ve been putting off getting into the 3D printing hobby because you’ve been waiting for prices to drop, this is one of the best times of the year to save. So what are you waiting for, pick up your first (or 100th) 3D printer today!
