One of the biggest points of frustration when I use it Galaxy S26 Ultra it was design. Samsung changed the camera body so that the modules stick out a bit more this year, and since they’re on the left side, it causes the device to wobble when using it on a table.
I got to the point where I didn’t want to use the S26 Ultra, and if anything, the phone is designed to be used with a case – Samsung chose not to include Qi 2 magnets in the device. Thankfully, if you need to buy a good magnetic case, there are plenty of great options out there, and I decided to go for it. UAG accessories with my Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+ and standard S26.
UAG makes reliable cases, and while the brand is known for its rugged designs, you get plenty of regular clear cases and stylish options to protect your phone. I like it The $59 Plyo box is the best; I’m using the Blue Ombre case color and it has a vibrant blue color with noticeable gradation along the sides and looks great.

Like the best TPU cases, the Plyo has anti-yellowing technology, so it should retain its design after several years of use. You get a built-in MagSafe-ready magnet, and the best part is that the case is designed to withstand drops from 16 feet. The corners provide extra cushioning, while the raised edges along the screen ensure you get a decent amount of sturdiness should the phone fall.
At 49g, the case doesn’t add too much bulk either, and I like that you get the protection of a solid case with a clear design that looks classy in its own right. The case has a glossy feel, so it does smudge during use and you should be aware of that. Other than that, this is easily the best looking UAG case and one of the better options if you want a clear case with a good level of protection.
If you need something a little more robust, $69 Pathfinder Clear case should be ideal. It has a better hand feel and the design of the armor shell means it can withstand drops of up to 18 feet. There’s also an internal cord and this particular color has a glow-in-the-dark design around the magnetic module, which just looks cool. It’s a bit big for my preference, but I’ll admit it feels good in my hand and doesn’t weigh too much. The reinforced buttons are tactile and the case does not obstruct the USB-C port.
Want a job that uses actual Kevlar? The Monarch Pro is a traditional rugged case and is constructed with Kevlar. As you can see, the case adds quite a bit of bulk to the phone, and at 58g, you’ll feel the extra weight. That said, the case has extreme protection and is designed to withstand drops of up to 25 feet. My favorite parts are that the case has a textured finish that makes it a little easier to store and use, and that it’s orange in color. It comes For $99it’s a slightly more expensive UAG case, but you also get guaranteed protection.
UAG also makes these cases for the Galaxy S26+ and S26, and I tested several models. It’s my favorite $79 Plasma XTE Galaxy S26+ Case; it has a sturdy shell with a clear design, magnetic charging and a built-in kickstand with 360-degree rotation. The added versatility makes the case stand out, and I also like the design and 20 feet of guaranteed protection.
Overall, I like what UAG has done with the Galaxy S26 series cases. They look stylish, offer better protection than most basic cases, and include magnetic charging by default, which is a key feature of the desk. And given the design flaws of the S26 Ultra and S26+, you’ll want to use the case if you’re interested in either phone.
