Yesterday, Apple announced a few key details about the success of the iPhone 17 family.

It also highlighted a great customer satisfaction achievement. According to Kevan Parekh, Apple’s CFO, “Customer satisfaction for the iPhone 17 family in the US was recently measured at 99% by 451 Research.”
The 99% customer satisfaction for the iPhone 17 line is a big win, and it helps partly explain the sales success. If early adopters love the iPhone 17, they’ll inspire even more people to upgrade.
During the earnings call, one analyst asked CEO Tim Cook about the “impressive iPhone growth” Apple has seen. And his answer revealed what customers are telling Apple about the appeal of the iPhone 17.

Well, if you look, it’s the iPhone 17 family that’s driving it, and that’s despite the supply constraints that we’re experiencing, as you mentioned. Here’s what drives people to the 17: people love the design, people love the performance, they love the durability, they love the camera, they love Center Stage, and they love the integration of Apple Intelligence into the platform.
So, according to Tim Cook, customers are drawn to the iPhone 17 lineup because of five main things:

- Continuity
- A camera with a specially marked Center Stage
- Apple Intelligence
