To no one’s surprise, Xbox and Playground Games‘ the new highly anticipated open world arcade racer Forza Horizon 6 Enjoying the game, it has been a big hit so far rave reviews from critics, massive Early Access debutand greater full launch This saw around 300,000 players get behind the wheel at the same time Steam alone
The game is even healthy modification with graphics and audio tweaks, ReShade presets and more live scene Forza Horizon 6 section of Nexus Mods. As a project in particular, it stands above the rest especially cool in my eyes: Spotify Radiomod that allows you to play Spotify music via the in-game radio station.
Pretty sick, right? Unfortunately, you can’t download and use the mod right now because Nexus Mods quickly “quarantined” it after their algorithms flagged it as potentially dangerous. BigJohn0 says this is because Spotify Radio uses a .dll file that is sometimes used by malicious actors to launch malware.
Some asked them to download the mod GitHub Instead, however, BigJohn0 chose not to because linking to him on Nexus is against the site’s terms and conditions, and he also doesn’t want to publish the source code.
Ultimately, this means that Spotify Radio will not be available until the Nexus Mods moderators have manually reviewed the mod files and verified that they are safe to use. Follow him; I’ll update this article once it’s cleaned up.
Once the mod is already locked and available for download again, installation will be a very simple process. As the mod page description says, all you need to do is unpack the mod files into your Forza Horizon 6 game directory, turn off Radio DJ and turn on Streamer mode in the game, and connect Spotify to FH6 Radio in the Connect menu in the app (the button for this looks like a speaker).
Another good news: the mod works on PC versions of the game on both Steam and Xbox and should do be completely safe to play with it as it is completely client-side and does not upload any data to the Forza servers. The only downside to Spotify Radio is that it requires a Spotify Premium membership, since you can’t use Spotify Connect without one. If you’re like me and already have one, this is hardly a problem.
Will you actually use the Spotify Radio mod once you can download it? Let me know below.
